The Virginian is one of the scarcer Burns guitars, and one of the most distinctive-in both looks and sound-of this eccentric but always interesting line. Introduced at the beginning of 1965, this was just about Jim Burns' final design for the company that bore his name until September that year, when Baldwin took over the operation. 

It's playing great with a good straight neck and a good action.

Has signs of wear throughout and significant checking to the finish that is sort of hard to see in the photos.   No cracks or breaks.   Neck is straight and it plays great with a good, low action.

The guitar sounds great acoustic, and when plugged in the original Baldwin pickups have a real cool unique sound.
