Here's a super unique, AMAZING sounding vintage 1942 Gibson Banner J-45.

It's had custom inlays put in the neck and the headstock.   Orignal maple back and sides, a very desirable and rare feature.  The original deep, dark Sunburst finish remains on the top.

The neck is straight and plays well with a good action.   No buzz or issues.....just tone.   AMAZING tone.   

Batch number on the neck block 4021 with red ink pencil 36, correct for 1942.

Has a small side patch and a few old professionally repaired cracks, common on any Gibson of this age.

This is probably the best sounding guitar in the store.

Comes with a nice vintage hardshell case, too.
