The Ovation UKII, also known as the Ultra Kaman II, is a solid body electric guitar with a hollow body and a distinctive sound: 
Body: Made of a cast aluminum frame encased in a mold of urethane foam, called urelite, which makes the guitar lightweight 
Neck: Bolt-on mahogany neck with a bound ebony fingerboard 
Inlays: Mother of pearl bow-tie position markers 
Pickups: Twin-blade humbuckers with a series/parallel switch 
Controls: Separate volume and tone controls for each pickup 
Other features: Top-loading bridge with adjustable brass saddles, 3-ply black pickguard, brass nut
