Here is a super clean and original 1965 Gibson SG Standard in remarkably clean condition with a very vibrant and unfaded original Cherry Red finish.

Purchased from the previous owner who purchased it from the original owner all the way back in 1965 with his Bar Mitzvah money.   He kept is all these years and basically never played it.

Has all the early features of a '64 SG with the small pickguard, long vibrola, Nickel parts, and wide nut.   The pots even date 1964.   Serial number dates 1965.

Guitar is remarkably light, resonant, and plays fantastic with the perfect wide neck these are known for.  

Original Patent Sticker pickups have that classic vintage tone like a PAF, basically the same exact pickup with a different sticker.   All pots and wiring are original to the guitar and the pots date 1964.

Neck is straight and plays great all the way up and down without buzz or issues.   Just set up and it's playing amazing.

The tuners are Gibson reproduction nickel Klusons just like the original, and there are filled holes from previous tuners being on the guitar.   This is the only thing on the guitar that is not original.

It has been setup by our tech so it plays amazing and it's ready for gigging and recording.

A real gem that we rarely see through our doors as clean and nice as this example.
