~1966 Gruggett Stradette Hollowbody Electric Sunburst w Hard Case
$ 4,499.00
Here is a very rare Gruggett Stradette Hollowbody Electric made by Bill Gruggett famous for his work with Mosrite guitars and Hallmark guitars. There are very few examples of this instrument and they rarely come up for sale. A real piece of guitar history. Plays and sounds amazing, too!
Features a Violin shaped hollowbody arch top body, stylized f-holes, six saddle stud mounted metal bridge (like a Mosrite bridge), vibrato tailpiece, and two single coil pickups with a three way switch. Vintage double line Kluson tuners, 22 fret rosewood fingerboard on and nice and straight neck. Guitar plays with a very low action and no buzz or issues. Original pickups are warm and strong with a real cool vintage jangle tone. Sounds and plays a lot like a vintage Mosrite.
Guitar is remarkably clean, near mint condition.
Comes with a good hard case.
