1960 Guild X-50 Cordoba Archtop Electric Acoustic Sunburst

$ 1,695.00

The 1960 Guild X-50, also known as the X-50 Cordoba, is a hollowbody electric archtop guitar featuring a laminated maple body, a 3-piece mahogany neck, and an unbound rosewood fingerboard.

It has a single-coil "Frequency Tested" pickup with separate tone and volume controls, a 24 3/4-inch short-scale length, and a standard sunburst finish.

This guitar was considered a more affordable alternative to Gibson's popular ES-125

Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, it plays great and the neck is nice and straight.   It plays with a wonderful action and no buzz or issues.  Headstock features the early logo which looks really cool.  There is a small repair to the front laminate on the headstock, it's not in the wood, just the laminate on top.

Original pickup is remarkably warm with an organic, round tone.   Great for everything from Jazz to Rock.

A perfect guitar for the player and collector alike.

Comes with a chipboard case, too.
