Sporting a stunning Cherry Red finish, this Custom Shop ES-339 takes the platform of an ES-335 and shrinks the body size while retaining the tonal properties of its big brother. With Burstbucker 1 and 2 PAF pickups, the 339 has a smooth, airy treble response with a touch of growl and rich harmonic content. The maple body provides the articulation and attack for which that particular tone wood is known, while the one-piece mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard add inherent warmth and girth to the sound. In the neck position, this ES-339 delivers a sweetness and bell-like top end that's great for retaining clarity on solos and complex rhythm work.

The C shaped neck profile makes this baby play more like a 60s neck profile. It plays with a nice low action and no buzz or issues. Just set up and ready to roll.

On the headstock, the stock Gibson Deluxe Kluson-style tuners turn smoothly and hold pitch well. The electronics are untouched, the plastic parts are near mint, and the hardware includes an ABR-1 bridge and locking stopbar tailpiece.
