Gretsch 6119 Chet Atkins Tennessean Hollowbody Electric Burgundy

$ 3,499.00

Made right here in Brooklyn in 1964, this vintage Gretsch Chet Atkins Tennessean Hollowbody is the George Harrison dream guitar.

This 6119 has nearly all the correct set of features George Harrison's matching the model George Harrison used extensively with the Beatles. The guitar is finished in a dark mahogany stain overall, something Chet himself much preferred.

Original Hi-Lo Tron pickups have that classic Beatles tone. Nice and warm yet bright and chiming. A wonderful recording guitar.

There are four tiny screw holes behind the bridge, purely cosmetic, perhaps from a buzz stop that was put on it at one point. Original Bigsby is set up well and the guitar plays remarkably well. Stays in tune very well, too.

Comes with original hardshell case.
