Gretsch Country Club Model 6192

$ 4,499.00

Vintage original 1957 Gretsch 6192 Country Club in a killer Cadillac Green which is a professional refinish.

Guitar features the original Dynasonic pickups that sound just incredible. Remarkably warm and punchy and organic tones.

Neck is nice and fat but not too fat and it just feels great in your hands. It's really easy to get around on and the guitar is a real pleasure to play. It is straight and true and plays without any buzz or issues, just set up so she's playing great.

Comes with its original hardshell case and a plethora of case candy including the original Gretsch Guarantee card, Quality Control OK hang tag, Quality Control Packing Slip, and original Gretsch Guarantee Certificate with hand-written model and serial numbers. We rarely see this much documentation with a guitar from the 50s. It’s a nice thing to have with any vintage guitar.

Basic Specs: Gold Grover Imperial tuners. 1 11/16 inch replaced Bone nut. Maple neck with a 25.5 inch scale. Refinished and re-bound Rosewood fingerboard with humped block Pearloid inlays. 21 frets with minor wear. Possibly re-fretted. Body was professionally refinished in Cadillac Green and it looks absolutely stunning in this color.

Original DeArmond Dynasonic pickups.

Original Gold “Space Control” bridge with Bigsby tailpiece. Original back-painted Gretsch pickguard.

If you’re looking for a great looking, great sounding mid-50s Gretsch, this will fill the bill nicely.
